VARICOSE VEINS
Varicose veins are twisted, widened veins with
defective valves. Causes include congenitally defective valves,
thrombophlebitis, pregnancy, and obesity. Varicose veins are common,
especially in women. The veins of the legs are most often affected.
Notes: For varicose vein treatment, vitamin C is very important, along with
collagen-building nutrients, to aid in the strengthening of the
vessel walls. The full amino acid complex and essential nutrients
help to reduce inflammation and rebuild tissue. Continued cleansing
of the elimination systems will ensure the ongoing rebuilding of the
vessel walls.
