Premenstrual
Syndrome (PMS)
Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) includes nervous
tension, irritability, weight gain, fluid buildup, headache, and
sore breasts that occur each month in the days just before the start
of menstruation. There are several ideas on the cause for the
condition. They include poor eating, stress, poor nutrition or
assimilation of nutrients, and hormonal imbalance.
Notes: A slight imbalance in macro nutrients, or a
slight imbalance in hormones (caused by the liver's inability to
balance the estrogen compounds) is tied directly to female stress
cycles. Many have found relief by adding just minerals, while others
have to focus on a liver program and balancing their hormones by
using a saliva or urine test. It doesn't take long to replenish
nutrient levels, however, it may take some time, even with the
benefit of a saliva or urine test, to balance the hormones properly,
due to possible liver congestion.
